This cake was requested by Bang Saut for his birthday. The cake will put on lots of slices n share with friends among my dept. He asked for cake that friends used to tasted from my previous baking....that means the gorgeous Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese frosting.... Yummmm....
Actually, his request was for the next day...but I'm kinda run out of the ingredients available at home...n of course It will a little bit stressful for me as beginner to bake n decor on such a short time...hehehehe... even of course, I would be very happy to take this order.... Luckily me, Bang Saut agreed the cake will be ready for the next 2 days....thanks yaaa..
For decoration I was asking Mbak Widya Hidayat for permission to copy her beautiful chocolate decoration... I sent her sms straightly n she replied with good news.... Thanks ya Mbaaakkk..... Cake sides was covered with 3 flavours of chocolate decorations n some choco curls for topping.... Honestly, I would like to make more choco curls so I can cover whole cake surface with them.... But the tool I used to make these curls was broken while I was on my full mood on making curls..hihihi...
It was the first time I used Arabesque textured chocolate sheet...n its soooo fun...they came out just beautiful as I wanted.... Althought the height were various...hahahaha..next time lets try to find some other way to make them on equal height......
